Only when players enter the field with the most comfortable psychological state can they be confident and maximize their abilities.

Therefore, in the recent training session, coach Hua Hien Vinh only gave a light training program, focusing on balancing the players' psychology through mini games with the ball. Players who rarely played were given additional physical exercises under the guidance of fitness expert Cedric Roger.

In the recent match against U19 Australia, despite great efforts, the U19 Vietnam team still could not make up for the gap in skill level compared to the other team. This is not surprising because Australian football is at the top of the continent and has continuously participated in the last 5 World Cups.

Looking back at this match, midfielder Quang Dung of U19 Vietnam - the author of the beautiful long-range shot into U19 Australia's net to reduce the score to 1-3, admitted: "We found it very difficult to face U19 Australia. Regarding the final group stage match against U19 Laos, Quang Dung commented: “U19 Vietnam is still preparing well and determined to win against U19 Laos. They are a difficult team to play against, having just drawn with U19 Myanmar. But U19 Vietnam will prepare well for this match.”

The match between U19 Vietnam and U19 Laos will take place at 3:00 p.m. tomorrow (July 24) at Gelora Bung Tomo Stadium. This is one of the stadiums hosting the FIFA U17 World Cup Finals in Indonesia in 2023. Before the training session this afternoon, the U19 Vietnam team also visited this stadium to help the players get familiar with the grass and the competition space.
