Disbursement of 7,058 billion VND of policy capital

Over the past 5 years, the Provincial Social Policy Bank Branch has disbursed VND 7,058 billion in preferential loans to over 172,000 poor households and policy beneficiaries in the province, thereby contributing to maintaining and expanding jobs for over 31,400 workers; supporting the construction and renovation of over 97,000 clean water and environmental sanitation works; building 1,090 houses for poor and near-poor households and 436 houses for beneficiaries of social housing policies according to Decree No. 100/2024/ND-CP of the Government.

Policy capital helps people of Pa Co commune (Mai Chau) develop the economy.

The capital was also used to support the education of 511 disadvantaged students, creating conditions for 89 people who had completed their prison sentences to borrow capital for production, business, stabilizing their lives and reintegrating into the community. Policy credit activities have made an important contribution to effectively implementing the province's socio-economic development goals and targets in the 2021-2025 period, especially in the work of rapid and sustainable poverty reduction, job creation, new rural construction, ensuring social security and improving people's lives.
