Gold price lost the 102 million VND/tael mark again

Saigon Jewelry Company Limited listed the price of gold rings of type 1-5 at only 99.3 million VND/tael (buy) - 101.8 million VND/tael (sell), down 100,000 VND/tael (buy) and 200,000 VND/tael (sell) compared to the end of the previous day.

Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company reduced the price by VND200,000/tael (buying price) and VND300,000/tael (selling price), to VND99.3 million/tael (buying price) - VND101.9 million/tael (selling price).

Meanwhile, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited increased by VND300,000/tael (buying price) and decreased by VND100,000/tael (selling price), trading at VND99.4 million/tael (buying price) - VND102.2 million/tael (selling price).

For SJC gold bars, the listed price is 99.4 million VND/tael (buy) - 101.9 million VND/tael (sell), down 100,000 VND/tael (buy) and 300,000 VND/tael (sell) compared to the end of the previous day.

In the international market, last night's trading session, gold prices fluctuated strongly. At one point, the price of the precious metal reached 3,150 USD/ounce and then dropped to 3,060 USD/ounce as investors took profits. At that price, many people rushed to buy, causing the price of gold to increase again.

Early this morning, the gold price was trading at $3,130/ounce, $15/ounce lower than the same time yesterday. At 9am, the gold price was trading at $3,110.3/ounce.

In the foreign exchange market, the State Bank of Vietnam announced the central exchange rate of VND to USD, applicable for April 4, 2025, as 1 USD = 24,886 VND, an increase of 32 VND compared to April 3.

BIDV listed the USD price at 25,590 VND (buy) - 25,950 VND (sell), down 45 VND per USD compared to the previous day.

Vietcombank set it at 25,610 VND (buy) - 25,970 VND (sell) compared to 25,620 VND (buy) - 25,980 VND (sell) yesterday.
