The retail price of DOJI gold bars is currently listed at VND98.4 million/tael (buy) and VND100.7 million/tael (sell), unchanged from the previous trading session.
Bao Tin Minh Chau gold price is currently buying at 98.5 million VND/tael and selling at 100.7 million VND/tael, unchanged compared to the last trading session of the week. At Mi Hong Jewelry Company, SJC gold price is buying at 98 million VND/tael and selling at 99.7 million VND/tael. Thus, compared to the previous session, gold price is unchanged in both buying and selling directions.
With the difference between selling and buying prices of 2.3 million VND and an increase of 3.3 million VND/tael in selling price compared to the closing price of last week, investors made a huge profit of 1 million VND/tael after one week.

World gold price today March 31, 2025 and world gold price fluctuation chart in the past 24 hours
According to Kitco, the world gold price recorded at 4am today, Vietnam time, was 3,083.39 USD/ounce. Today's gold price remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Converted according to the USD exchange rate on the free market (25,868 VND/USD), the world gold price is about 96.1 million VND/tael (excluding taxes and fees). Thus, the price of SJC gold bars is 4.3 million VND/tael higher than the international gold price.
World gold price developments in the past 24 hours.
According to Peter Grant of Zaner Metals, the rally is largely driven by the sentiment of gold as a “safe haven.” Concerns about tariffs, trade and global political uncertainty are driving investors to gold as a hedge against uncertainty.
Goldman Sachs expects gold prices to end the year at $3,300 an ounce, citing stronger-than-expected inflows into exchange-traded funds and steady demand from central banks as key factors driving gold higher.
Mr. Ilya Spivak - Global Macro Director at market analysis company Tastylive - commented that the 3,057 USD mark is an important threshold for world gold prices, followed by the 3,100 USD/ounce mark.
In addition to technical factors, gold prices are still supported by US economic data showing a slowdown in growth. The upcoming jobs report next week could create volatility in the market. If the US labor market weakens, this could negatively impact stocks and boost demand for safe-haven gold.
Economists are also watching the market's reaction to the US implementing new tariffs on April 2. These trade policies can affect the global economy and indirectly impact gold prices.
