Regarding rice, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of An Giang province, currently raw rice 5451 increased by 200 VND/kg, fluctuating at 9,400 - 9,600 VND/kg; raw rice OM 380 fluctuated at 7,750 - 7,850 VND; raw rice IR 504 fluctuated at 7,900 - 8,000 VND/kg; finished rice OM 380 fluctuated at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; finished rice IR 504 fluctuated at 9,500 - 9,700 VND/kg.

As for by-products, the price of by-products ranges from 6,600 - 9,000 VND/kg. Currently, broken rice 3-4 ranges from 6,600 - 6,700 VND/kg; bran price ranges from 8,000 - 9,000 VND/kg.

Recorded in localities today, the quantity is quite good, warehouses ask to buy a lot of CL555 and OM5451 rice, while fragrant rice is bought more slowly, prices are stable. In An Giang, the quantity is quite good, warehouses ask to buy regularly, rice of all types is little changed. In Lap Vo (Dong Thap), the quantity is better, warehouses buy regularly, prices are stable.

Sa Dec market canal (Dong Thap), in terms of quantity, is larger, the market warehouse buys regularly with fragrant and sticky rice, stable price. In An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang), in terms of quantity, the warehouse buys quite a lot, the market rice season is abundant, the price is stable.

At retail markets, rice prices of all kinds remained unchanged compared to yesterday. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates at VND15,000 - 16,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice fluctuates at VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice fluctuates at VND22,000/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice fluctuates at VND18,000 - 20,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice fluctuates at VND22,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice fluctuates at VND21,000/kg; common white rice fluctuates at VND17,000/kg; Soc regular rice fluctuates at VND18,000/kg; Soc Thai rice is priced at VND21,000/kg; Japanese rice is priced at VND22,000/kg.

In many localities today, sources are low and trading is still slow. In An Giang, early Summer-Autumn rice has begun to be harvested in small quantities, and farmers are offering to sell slowly. In Long An, farmers are offering prices that have increased, and trading has slowed down.

In Dong Thap, the supply is still low, the price of fragrant rice is increasing, and the buying and selling is slow. In Can Tho, the supply of young rice is low, most of it is not offered for sale, waiting for the harvest day. In Soc Trang, the supply of unstaked rice is still low, farmers are holding the price high, and the demand is quite high for market goods.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices today decreased compared to the beginning of the week. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 399 USD/ton, 25% broken rice is at 370 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 316 USD/ton (down 9 USD/ton).
