Rice prices today, July 11, in the Mekong Delta region decreased by 100-150 VND/kg for finished rice. Raw rice decreased by 50 VND/kg. Rice prices remained stable.

Today's rice prices are adjusted compared to yesterday. Specifically, IR 504 summer-autumn raw rice is at 10,650 - 10,750 VND/kg, down 50 VND/kg; IR 504 finished rice is at 12,600 - 12,750 VND/kg, down 100 - 150 VND/kg.

In the rice market today, transactions are stable, a lot of rice is coming in, warehouses buy sparingly, there is little good rice, prices fluctuate.

At retail markets, rice prices have not been adjusted. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND30,000/kg; Jasmine rice is VND18,000 - 20,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice is VND20,000/kg; regular rice fluctuates around VND15,000 - 16,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice is VND20,000 - 21,000/kg; Jasmine rice is VND20,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice is VND21,000/kg; common white rice is VND17,000/kg; regular Soc rice is VND18,500/kg; Thai Soc rice is VND20,000/kg; Japanese rice is VND22,000/kg.

Regarding rice, prices remained unchanged today. Specifically, according to the update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, rice prices are stable: IR 50404 fluctuates around 6,800 - 6,900 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice is priced at 7,100 - 7,200 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice is stable at 7,000 - 7,100 VND/kg; OM 18 rice is priced at 7,000 - 7,200 VND/kg; OM 380 fluctuates from 7,200 - 7,300 VND/kg. Japanese rice is priced at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 is priced at 7,600 - 7,700 VND/kg and Nang Nhen rice (dry) is at 20,000 VND/kg.

Accordingly, the sticky rice market recorded an adjustment compared to yesterday. The price of 3-month sticky rice (dry) remained unchanged compared to the price of 8,800 VND/kg to 9,000 VND/kg. In addition, 9,000 - 9,200 VND/kg is the selling price applied to Long An sticky rice (dry). On the other hand, 3-month sticky rice (fresh) was stable compared to yesterday at 7,300 - 7,500 VND/kg and Long An sticky rice (fresh) continued to be stable today.

In the rice market today, transactions are stable, dry rice prices increased slightly, rice supply is low, farmers offer high prices.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices have slightly decreased. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 100% broken rice is stable at 470 USD/ton; 5% broken rice is currently at 467 USD/ton, down 1 USD; 25% broken rice is at 545 USD/ton.
