Pig prices continue to decline
According to records, today, January 16, 2025, the price of live pigs nationwide was adjusted down. The North recorded a further cooling down, with a slight decrease in Vinh Phuc and Ha Nam - to the same level of 68,000 VND/kg. The average price of pork in the region reached 68,400 VND/kg.
Some provinces and cities have the same price of live pigs at 69,000 VND/kg such as Yen Bai, Hung Yen, Hai Duong, Hanoi...
In the Central and Central Highlands pig market, the average price of live pigs in the region reached 67,500 VND/kg. In Binh Dinh and Khanh Hoa, the price of live pigs decreased by 1,000 VND, reaching 66,000 VND/kg.
Meanwhile, in the southern provinces and cities, the price of live pigs remained stable, fluctuating between 67,000 - 69,000 VND/kg. The purchase price of 68,000 VND/kg was purchased in many provinces: Bac Lieu, Tien Giang, Soc Trang, Ca Mau, Ben Tre... The average regional price reached 68,200 VND/kg.
