Rice price decreased by 50 VND/kg, paddy price remained stable

Rice prices today, November 6, in the Mekong Delta region are stable with rice. Rice prices decreased slightly by 50 VND/kg.

Update from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province said that today's rice price has been adjusted compared to yesterday, IR 50404 is priced at 6,700 - 7,300 VND/kg; Dai Thom 8 rice is priced at 8,300 VND/kg, up 300 VND/kg, OM 5451 rice is priced at 7,400 - 7,600 VND/kg; OM 18 rice is priced at 8,100 VND/kg; OM 380 fluctuates at 7,000 - 7,200 VND/kg; Nhat rice is priced at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg and Nang Nhen rice (dry) is priced at 20,000 VND/kg.

In the rice market, it is noted that in Hau Giang and Kien Giang, dry rice transactions are slow, with low transaction volume. In An Giang, autumn-winter rice is offered for sale in large quantities, with slow demand and low volume.

Besides, the glutinous rice market has not adjusted compared to yesterday. Long An IR 4625 glutinous rice (fresh) 7,800 - 7,900 VND/kg is stable compared to yesterday. Long An IR 4625 glutinous rice (dried) 9,600 - 9,800 VND/kg is stable compared to yesterday.

In the rice market, it is noted that in localities such as Soc Trang and Dong Thap, transactions are stable, warehouse purchases are slow, there is little good rice, and rice prices are stable.

In the rice market, rice prices have been adjusted compared to yesterday. Currently, the price of IR 504 Summer-Autumn raw rice is at 10,450 - 10,550 VND/kg, down 50 VND/kg. Meanwhile, IR 504 finished rice is at 12,450 - 12,550 VND/kg, down 50 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

For by-products, the price of by-products of all kinds fluctuates between 6,800 - 9,500 VND/kg. Currently, the price of OM 5451 broken rice is at 9,300 - 9,500 VND/kg; the price of dry bran is at 6,800 - 6,900 VND/kg.

At retail markets, rice prices have been adjusted for individual rice products. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of VND28,000/kg. The price of regular rice continues to be fixed at VND15,000 - 16,000/kg, fragrant rice at VND17,000 - 23,000/kg. Jasmine rice is VND17,000 - 18,000/kg; Nang Hoa rice is VND21,500/kg; regular rice fluctuates around VND15,000 - 16,000/kg; long-grain fragrant rice is VND20,000 - 22,000/kg; Huong Lai rice is VND23,000/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice is VND21,000/kg; Soc regular rice is VND18,500/kg; Soc Thai rice is VND21,000/kg; Japanese rice price is 22,500 VND/kg, increased by 50 VND/kg.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained unchanged compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 100% broken rice was at $427/ton; 5% standard rice was at $524/ton; and 25% broken rice was at $495/ton.
