The Management Board of Binh Dinh Economic Zone has just granted an investment registration certificate to Lehome International Company Limited (Hong Kong, China) to implement the Gainwell Vietnam high-end interior and exterior furniture factory project in Quy Nhon.

Accordingly, the project aims to produce interior and exterior wooden furniture and supporting materials with a scale of 800 million products/year. The project is implemented at Lot B3.04, Nhon Hoi Industrial Park (Area A), Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, Nhon Hoi Commune, Quy Nhon City with an area of over 5.5 hectares.

The project has a total investment capital of more than 254 billion VND (equivalent to 10 million USD), of which the investor's capital contribution is 50.93 billion VND. The project implementation progress is from November 2024 to March 2027.

Previously, on November 5, 2024, Saigon - Nhon Hoi Industrial Park Joint Stock Company (SNP, investor of Nhon Hoi Industrial Park Area A) and Lehome International Company Limited held a signing ceremony on the land lease contract at the industrial park.

According to SNP, Lehome International Co., Ltd. is a member of Gainwell Group (Hong Kong, China) - a prestigious brand in the furniture industry in China, committed to investing 20 million USD in the Project of a factory producing high-end furniture products and outdoor wooden furniture, and a rental factory to form an auxiliary supply chain in Nhon Hoi Industrial Park - Area A.

The project is expected to create jobs for about 700 local workers and start construction in 2025.

According to information posted on SNP's website, at the signing ceremony, Mr. Tran Viet Anh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of SNP, expressed his hope that this cooperation would not only bring great value to Gainwell Group but also contribute positively to the development of Nhon Hoi Industrial Park - Zone A and Binh Dinh province. Mr. Anh committed that SNP would accompany and create the best conditions for investors to confidently develop projects in the industrial park.

Meanwhile, Mr. Le Ve Luong, Chairman of Gainwell Group, assessed that Binh Dinh, with its strategic location near the seaport, abundant raw materials, synchronous infrastructure and preferential policies, is an ideal investment location.

The Chairman of Gainwell Group expressed his commitment to long-term commitment in Quy Nhon, creating jobs for local people and promoting the development of the local furniture industry; at the same time, he hoped to continue receiving support from the government and SNP in the coming time.

Mr. Nguyen Bay, Director of Binh Dinh Province Investment Promotion Center, informed that it is estimated that from now until the end of 2024, Binh Dinh will attract 80 investment projects with a total expected investment capital of VND 18,371.7 billion.
Of which, 56 projects are outside industrial parks and economic zones and 24 projects are inside industrial parks and economic zones. Compared to the same period last year, the number of projects decreased by 6.9% and the total investment capital increased by 11.6% (in 2023, it attracted 86 projects with a total capital of VND 16,459.9 billion). This is an extremely great effort of Binh Dinh province in an extremely difficult context.
