On the morning of June 19, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province coordinated with Ninh Binh Electricity Company Limited and the People's Committee of Quynh Luu commune to install a signboard for the Solar Powered Lighting Road project in Lu Phong village, Quynh Luu commune (Nho Quan district).
The project was carried out on the road leading to the tomb of comrade Luong Van Thang - the first Secretary of the Indochinese Communist Party cell of Ninh Binh province; with a scale of 15 electric poles using 300W LED bulbs, on a 500 m long road.
To carry out the project, the provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front coordinated with the Department of Transport to clear trees, level some high mounds; install road guardrails, speed bumps, and reflective signs. At the same time, it coordinated with the Quynh Luu commune government to mobilize households with houses along the road to prune trees, creating an open space for the construction of power lines and landscaping the road.
From the end of March 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province continued to coordinate with Ninh Binh Electricity Company Limited to build a system of poles, install lighting bulbs, and solar energy collection equipment; by the beginning of April 2024, the project was completed. The advantage of the project is that the bulbs use entirely solar energy, helping to reduce additional costs such as electricity bills, line repairs, etc.
The project, when completed and put into use, will create convenience in the lives of 29 households with more than 100 people living around the road in particular and the people of Lu Phong village in general; at the same time, it shows gratitude for the contributions of the first Secretary of the Indochinese Communist Party cell of the province.
This is also one of the projects and tasks to welcome the 12th Provincial Congress of Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.
The project contributes to building a bright, green, clean, beautiful, safe road, contributing to Quynh Luu commune to successfully achieve the goal of building an advanced new rural area and a model new rural area in the coming time.
