Previously, it was reported that the Galaxy Z Fold6 Special Edition will have a 6.5-inch outer display and an 8-inch folding display. When measured horizontally, the phone will be 10.6mm when folded and 4.9mm when unfolded. This will make the phone slightly thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold6.
The device has a camera cluster as it is designed to protrude from the back. This is in line with previous rumors when revealing the device has an impressive 200MP main camera.
The Galaxy Z Fold6 Special Edition is also expected to feature an upgraded 5MP camera hidden under the device's folding screen. The back appears to have a unique and interesting brushed metal finish.
Besides, details such as the large secondary screen on the front, using a perforated design containing the selfie camera and square edges are quite similar to the Z Fold6.
The device could have a larger battery to power it, come pre-installed with OneUI 6.1.1 on Android 14 and receive 7 major Android updates as well as 7 years of security patches.
The device is expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy chip, support IP48 water and dust resistance and will have a Titan frame similar to the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
