Galaxy S25 Slim to launch in late 2025

Previously, Smartprix revealed that the Galaxy S25 Slim model had appeared in the Korean FCC database. The product is expected to carry the model number SM-S937U - this suggests that this could be the fourth member of the Galaxy S25 series, alongside the Galaxy S25, S25+ and S25 Ultra. However, the S25 Slim will not appear with other products of the S25 series in January 2025 but will be launched a few months later.

Leaks reveal that the Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to feature a 6.7-inch flat display and a slimmer body than other devices in the series. It is said to have a 200MP main camera with an ISOCELL HP2 sensor.

Rumors say the S25 Slim could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chip, with 16GB of RAM for powerful performance.

The source also said that the Galaxy S25 Slim will be available in the US instead of being limited to the Korean market through separate carriers.

The product is said to compete directly with the iPhone 17 Air. The Galaxy S25 Slim is expected to launch in Q2/2025 or maybe a quarter earlier than the iPhone 17 Air. This will help Samsung evaluate the market's acceptance of the new product.
