While products like OnePlus 13, Realme GT7 Pro, and Xiaomi 15 are already equipped with Qualcomm's new chip, Snapdragon 8 Elite, Samsung fans are waiting for the Galaxy S25 series to be equipped with the same chip.
Some unofficial information revealed that the Galaxy S25 product line will be equipped with Qualcomm's high-end processor.
In addition, performance tests show differences between the versions. The source revealed that the Galaxy S25+ product is equipped with a Samsung SM-S936B chip (believed to be Exynos 2500) by the smartphone manufacturer; while the Galaxy S25 Ultra version may use a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip.
Therefore, Samsung may still be working on the next processor chip after the Exynos 2400, which is equipped on the Galaxy S24 and S24+. Tech experts assume that the Galaxy S25 and S25+ sold in certain markets, such as Europe, will use this chip instead of the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
A source from ET News (Korea) further revealed that Samsung is developing an ultra-thin phone model called Galaxy S25 Slim. This device is expected to be introduced in the early second quarter of 2025, about 3 months after the Galaxy S25 product line is launched.
In addition, according to DSCC (Display Supply Chain Consultants) CEO Ross Young, the Galaxy S25 series will have more colors, such as: Coral Red, Rose Gold, Blue and Black for the S25 and S25+ models, Blue and Black Titan, Jade Green Titan and Silver/Pink Titan for the S25 Ultra model.
