Beijing Book Festival Promotes Cross-Cultural Exchange

The 30th Beijing International Book Festival (BIBF - photo) attracted the participation of 1,600 exhibitors from 71 countries, territories and regions.

At this year's exhibition, visitors had the opportunity to access 220,000 Chinese and international books. More than 1,000 cultural events were held on the occasion, while authors and publishers also reached more than 2,100 copyright commercial agreements or cooperation agreements.

Considered the world's second largest book fair, with nearly 300,000 visitors attending, BIBF is an opportunity to promote Chinese culture globally, while also acting as a bridge for exchange and enhancing mutual understanding between cultures.
