Summer is a great time to explore Sa Pa. Not noisy, not hot, Sa Pa is cool and peaceful with a dreamy natural landscape. At Fansipan mountain range, purple flowers are in full bloom, covering the Northwest mountains and forests with a purple color stretching to the horizon.
If you want to admire the whole view of the flower hills, visitors should choose the Muong Hoa mountain train, connecting Sa Pa town with the Fansipan cable car station. Sitting on the train cars designed in a classic and romantic European style, you will experience the feeling of going through the "purple flower waterfall" pouring down the hillside, letting your eyes admire the mountains hidden in the white clouds. Each train ride is only about 10 minutes, but will definitely bring unforgettable memories to the experiencer.
Or to fully enjoy the flower season, visitors can choose another poetic discovery route. Take a walk on the stone-paved path, go deep into the middle of the vast flower fields, to touch the soft petals and breathe in the pure fragrance of the mountains and forests.
From the purple flower hill, you can see the majestic Hoang Lien Son range stretching out before your eyes. The purple flowers sway in the sunlight, creating a romantic scene that makes anyone captivated and fascinated.
The vast sky and clouds with brilliant purple color create the perfect setting for sparkling photos. Every summer, the purple flower hill welcomes thousands of check-in enthusiasts and photographers to capture the most beautiful moments. Young people happily wear colorful national costumes, while couples hold hands and walk among the flower carpets, enjoying romantic moments and preserving beautiful memories.
On the flower hill, the stilt house was meticulously restored by Sun World Fansipan Legend according to the architecture and customs of the indigenous people, serving as both a tourist attraction and a backdrop for impressive photos of the purple flower fields. Nearby, a rustic heart-shaped woven chair also became a "prop" to make the photos more poetic.
According to Mr. Huy, a tourist area employee, Sa Pa's climate in July is chilly but sunny, very favorable for cloud hunting or "virtual living" activities of tourists. Since the beginning of summer, the tourist area has welcomed thousands of tourists, including couples coming to take wedding photos, creating an extremely vibrant atmosphere.
Mr. Phong, a tourist from Hoa Binh, shared: "My girlfriend and I often drive to Fansipan to play on our days off. Sa Pa is not as crowded and bustling as many other tourist destinations, so we have more private space to experience more. My girlfriend likes taking pictures, and the flowers at Fansipan bloom all year round. Last month they were roses, now they are purple flowers. They look very beautiful in pictures."
Not only the dreamy purple flower hill, on the top of Fansipan, the Don Thoc flower is also in full bloom, blooming orange, brightening up the roof of Indochina. From July 20, Sun World Fansipan Legend organizes the "Don Thoc Flower Festival" with many exciting folk games and activities such as pounding sticky rice cakes, dancing, performing Northwest cultural performances, etc., bringing a rich experience to visitors.
Along with the beautiful scenery and festive atmosphere are attractive promotions from the tourist area. From July 20 to August 30, Sun World Fansipan Legend offers a 50% discount on cable car tickets, only 450,000 VND for visitors from 9 Northwestern provinces (Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Son La, Lai Chau, Dien Bien, Hoa Binh, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc and Tuyen Quang). The Northwestern-standard culinary service at Ban May in the evening is also only from 250,000 VND, very worth the experience.
With record-breaking discounted cable car tickets, deeply discounted services, countless beautiful check-in spots and a festive atmosphere, the journey to Fansipan has never been as "delicious, nutritious and cheap" as this summer.
