MU fans send thousands of love to the hero of the Dutch team

Wout Weghorst spent half of the 2022/23 season playing for MU on loan from Burnley. Therefore, he is loved by many Red Devils fans.

At 31, Weghorst is a substitute for the Dutch national team. When the team was in a deadlock, coach Koeman decided to send his tall student onto the field to find a breakthrough.

Not disappointing his coach's trust, it only took 2 minutes for Weghorst to shine with a sharp left-footed shot into the Polish net.

The former Red Devils striker celebrated with excitement, shouting loudly in front of the crowd of orange-clad fans, then raised his hands to the sky to express his joy.

Witnessing Weghorst's explosive moment, many MU fans gave him a dose of mental doping on social networks.

Wout Weghorst is still under contract with Burnley despite not playing for the club since 2022. He was loaned to Besiktas and MU for the 2022/23 season.

Most recently, he played for Hoffenheim on loan, scoring 7 goals in 30 appearances.
