Duy Xuyen determined to complete the targets in 2024

Accordingly, industrial and handicraft production activities gradually regained growth momentum. The total production value of the industry reached 3,281 billion VND, reaching 70.1% of the 2024 plan.

Notably, tourism activities continue to recover and develop. In the first 9 months of 2024, the number of visitors to My Son is estimated at 338,000, an increase of 25.4% over the same period in 2023. Total revenue reached 54.6 billion VND, an increase of 27.1% over the same period last year.

Total state budget revenue in Duy Xuyen is estimated at 1,067 billion VND, reaching 86% of the estimate assigned by the District People's Council. Of which, revenue from economic activities is 432 billion VND, reaching 129.6% of the estimate assigned by the District People's Council, up 16.2% over the same period last year...

According to Mr. Nguyen Cong Dung - Secretary of Duy Xuyen District Party Committee, from now until the end of 2024, Party committees, authorities, agencies, units and localities need to promote a high sense of responsibility towards the Party Committee and the people; urgently and seriously draw lessons, overcome shortcomings and limitations; actively, proactively and creatively focus on implementing well the tasks and solutions set out, accelerate, make breakthroughs, and strive to comprehensively complete the targets and tasks of 2024.

In particular, it is necessary to focus on effectively implementing policies to support the development of agricultural - forestry - fishery production, value chain linkage projects, promote production - business and support enterprises. Focus on thoroughly resolving difficulties to speed up the implementation of public investment projects; promptly remove difficulties, speed up the disbursement progress of the capital plan assigned in 2024...

According to Mr. Nguyen Quang Manh, from the beginning of 2024 until now, Duy Xuyen District Party Committee has well organized political activities "Steadfast steps under the Party flag", researched the work "Building and developing a comprehensive and modern Vietnamese foreign affairs and diplomacy imbued with the identity of "Vietnamese bamboo"".

In the first 9 months of this year, the Party Committee from the district to the grassroots level in Duy Xuyen inspected 49 Party organizations and 53 Party members; supervised 50 Party organizations and 56 Party members. The Inspection Committee from the district to the grassroots level inspected 55 Party organizations in performing the tasks of inspection, supervision, Party discipline enforcement and Party finance; supervised 39 Party organizations and 47 Party members.
