ANTD.VN - American news agency CNN published an article praising the newly opened Cau Hon, stating that Phu Quoc is the best island in Vietnam for tourism.

On the evening of December 26, local time, the American news agency CNN published an article introducing to readers around the world about the Kissing Bridge - a new project that opened on December 22 in Sunset Town, Phu Quoc. With the title that aroused many readers' curiosity: "New bridge in Vietnam for giving kisses, not for crossing", the article was in the "Featured" spotlight on CNN's homepage for many hours.

The author of the article, Veronica Lin, had many compliments for Cau Hon. “A new check-in spot where couples can share romantic moments under the Vietnamese sunset,” she described. From Lin’s perspective, Cau Hon looks like “two lips about to touch each other” from afar.

The Kissing Bridge is the result of a collaboration between the famous Italian architect Marco Casamonti and the Sun Group. The bridge is over 800m long and its design was inspired by Michelangelo’s classic fresco “Creation of Adam” on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, Vatican. Like two fingers that do not touch each other in the painting, the two branches of the bridge do not “touch” each other but are about 30cm apart. “This means that the couple will stand on each side of the bridge, then lean in to give each other a passionate kiss,” CNN described.

CNN was also surprised by the calculations of the architects who created the bridge, so that on January 1st every year, the sun will "fall" exactly between the two branches of the bridge, before sinking into the sea.

According to CNN, Phu Quoc is considered “the best island in Vietnam to travel to”, especially for honeymoon couples. The island has also invested heavily in tourism infrastructure, gathering the world’s most luxurious resort brands such as JW Marriott, InterContinental, Regent… “And Cau Hon has added to the list of tourist attractions on the island for all visitors to experience”, CNN suggested.

The Kissing Bridge is a project in the new entertainment complex that was launched on December 21, in Sunset Town Phu Quoc, invested by Sun Group, with a total investment value of more than 4,000 billion, including the Vui Phet Beach Night Market (VUI-Fest Bazaar), the world's leading modern multimedia technology show The Kiss of the Sea with a 7-minute fireworks display every night. This complex is attracting tens of thousands of tourists to Phu Quoc to check-in, have fun and enjoy every day.

In addition to the Kissing Bridge, CNN's article also mentioned the Golden Bridge at Sun World Ba Na Hills (Da Nang). Located at an altitude of more than 1,400 m above sea level, the bridge with an amazing design resembling two giant human hands supporting a golden thread "stirred up" the international media when it was launched in 2018 and has become a symbol of Vietnamese tourism ever since. CNN also voted the Golden Bridge image among the 124 most impressive travel photos in the world.
