It has become a tradition that every time the National Assembly session comes, Mr. Ngan Van Hoa, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Muong Ly commune, Muong Lat district, Thanh Hoa province, "travels a thousand feet up - a thousand feet down" to bring the latest information from the parliament to the Mong people in Sai Khao village.
Sai Khao village, Muong Ly commune is located about 30km from Muong Lat town with an altitude of more than 1,500m above sea level. There are 93 households with 558 people of Mong ethnic group living here. Sai Khao village is the place associated with the glorious past of the Tay Tien Regiment in the past.
Understanding the difficulties in accessing information of the people, especially the new policy resolutions of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, Mr. Ngan Van Hoa, Vice Chairman of the People's Council of Muong Ly commune, has proactively overcome the difficulties, regularly going to the locality to propagate the latest information to the Mong people. Mr. Hoa was born in 1986 in Thai village, Muong Ly commune, but is very attached to the Mong people. In 2008, after graduating from the National Academy of Public Administration, he returned to work in the locality, so he understands the life and spirit of the local people very well.
To prepare for a propaganda session, Mr. Ngan Van Hoa regularly follows the discussion and questioning content of the National Assembly and issues related to ethnic minorities and remote areas.
The Tay Tien memorial stele in Sai Khao village has long been a red address for Mr. Ngan Van Hoa to propagate the latest information of the National Assembly to the Mong people here.
Due to the lack of telephone cables, the phone signal is available in some places and not in others. Along with turning on the computer for people to watch videos of the National Assembly, Mr. Ngan Van Hoa raised his phone to catch the signal and broadcast videos and clips of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly for people to watch.
Ms. Sung Thi Ganh excitedly said: "Thanks to the regular propaganda from the Ngan Van Hoa staff, through monitoring, we are very happy that the recommendations of the villagers have been reflected by the National Assembly delegates of Thanh Hoa province during the National Assembly session. Thereby, the road to the village is being invested in by the State with solid concrete, creating favorable conditions for people to travel, trade, and escape the "isolation" from the outside world. The dream of having national grid electricity for generations of the villagers has become a reality".
Mr. Ngan Van Hoa also actively propagates the Laws on marriage and family, child marriage, incestuous marriage... to the villagers, especially teenagers.
In addition, Mr. Ngan Van Hoa also actively mobilizes his family and community to well implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws; mobilizes people to participate in production, economic development, hunger eradication, poverty reduction, and building new rural villages.
With the attention of the National Assembly Delegation of Thanh Hoa province and the People's Council of Thanh Hoa province in resolving voters' petitions, the road to Sai Khao village is being invested in and solidly built to facilitate people's travel, trade, economic and social development, and contribute to hunger eradication and poverty reduction.
