The Organizing Committee of the Culture - Tourism Week (VH-DL) and the opening of the Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival in Bac Giang province held a ceremony to carry the tablet of the Three Patriarchs of Truc Lam from Vinh Nghiem Pagoda (Bac Giang City) to Ha Pagoda, part of the Tay Yen Tu spiritual - ecological tourist area (Son Dong).
The procession consisted of 51 vehicles (equal to the age of King Tran Nhan Tong) carrying festival flags, Buddhist flags, offerings, tablets of the Three Patriarchs of Truc Lam, monks, nuns, and Buddhists, ensuring solemnity and dignity according to Buddhist rituals.
As the ancestral home of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect, Vinh Nghiem Pagoda has a majestic architecture, with the standard of traditional pagoda and tower architecture, with historical, cultural, architectural and artistic values, worthy of being called a "great ancient temple".
The pagoda is considered the first Buddhist University in Vietnam and is ranked as a special national monument.
The ceremony of carrying the tablet of the Three Patriarchs of Truc Lam to Ha Pagoda, Tay Yen Tu has the meaning of a spring pilgrimage to the sacred land, wishing for a new year of good fortune, prosperity and peace.
Also on the morning of February 9, at Tay Yen Tu spiritual and ecological tourist area (Son Dong), the People's Committee of Bac Giang province opened the Bac Giang Cultural - Tourism Week and opened the Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival 2025 with the theme Sacred Tay Yen Tu.

"This year's Tay Yen Tu Spring Festival and Bac Giang Province Culture and Tourism Week have 13 main activities. The highlights of the event are the Procession of the Three Patriarchs of Truc Lam, the 'Journey in the Footsteps of the Buddha' cycling race, the Forest Opening Festival in Huong Son (Lang Giang), the Sloong Hao singing festival in Tan Son (Luc Ngan) and the Festival of practicing the worship of the Mother Goddess of the Three Realms at Suoi Mo Temple (Luc Nam)", said Mai Son, Standing Vice Chairman of the Bac Giang Provincial People's Committee.
At the opening ceremony, delegates and visitors enjoyed the 45-minute Linh Thien Tay Yen Tu art program, consisting of three chapters: Legend of the sacred realm - Origin of Truc Lam Zen, Bac Giang - Land of culture and Bac Giang - Potential, shining.
The artists performed many special songs such as: Spiritual path, Tran Nhan Tong spreads the true dharma in the South, On Phu Van peak, Love between mountains and forests, Spring colors of Tay Yen Tu...
Bac Giang Province's Culture - Tourism Week 2025 takes place from February 8-13 (January 11-16) with 13 main activities at Tay Yen Tu spiritual - ecological tourist area, Vinh Nghiem pagoda, Suoi Mo ecological tourist area and some localities in the province.
