(Dan Tri) - The cherry blossom forest in Langbiang mountain (Lam Dong) blooms and shows off its beauty on the occasion of Lunar New Year, making locals and tourists excited.
On the days approaching the Lunar New Year of At Ty 2025, the cherry blossom forest in Langbiang mountain area, Lac Duong town, Lac Duong district, Lam Dong is blooming, creating a beautiful natural picture.
The pink color of cherry blossoms blends with the mountain forest and people's gardens, creating a romantic scene, attracting many tourists to visit and take pictures.

Mr. Ro Ong Ha Khuyen, a K'Ho ethnic in Lac Duong town, said that cherry blossoms have grown into a large population at the foot of Langbiang mountain since the 1990s. "There are large tree trunks, tens of centimeters in diameter," Mr. Ha Khuyen shared.
In recent years, local people have cooperated with authorities to implement measures to prevent forest fires and protect cherry blossom forests. Many households have also planted cherry blossoms around their houses and fields to create a landscape.

The cherry blossoms at the foot of Langbiang Mountain, known to photographers and nature lovers as “Mong Dao Nguyen”, usually shed their leaves in early October and begin to bloom around New Year’s Day. After 2-3 weeks, the flowers fade and the trees enter a new growth phase.
"Mong Dao Nguyen" is about 5km from Lac Duong town center and 15km from Da Lat city center. To get here, visitors have to overcome more than 2km of winding forest road, jagged rocks and steep slopes.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Quyen from Dong Nai province said she learned about the cherry blossom forest through newspapers and social networks. "I am very happy to come to a place as beautiful as Mong Dao Nguyen," Ms. Quyen shared.
Mr. Nguyen Nhat Minh, from My Tho, Tien Giang province, also chose to travel to Da Lat near Tet to enjoy the cherry blossoms. "We traveled on a sunny day so we had many beautiful photos with the cherry blossoms," said Mr. Minh.

Mr. Nguyen Luong Minh, Deputy Director of Bidoup - Nui Ba National Park, said that the cherry blossom population is located in the forest area under the management of the Park. The unit has coordinated with local people and authorities to preserve and protect this population.
