Thousands of tourists flock to the North Cape, Norway in early August to enjoy the moment of the sun setting and rising at midnight.

North Cape (English: North Cape, Norwegian: Nordkapp) is the most attractive tourist destination in Norway in the summer. Because it attracts many tourists to come to see the moment the sun sets and rises at the same time, this place has invested in tourist attractions and sold tickets to watch the sun.

The best place to watch the sunrise is at Mui Bac, at an altitude of over 300m. The tourism company has built a wall around the cliff. A globe has been built to create a unique photo space for visitors.

At the end of July and the beginning of August, the weather at Mui Bac is about 5-6 degrees Celsius. The strong sea breeze constantly blows, creating a cold feeling for those who visit this unique place.

0:00 is the most special moment that all tourists wait for - the sun sets and rises at the same time. It is very difficult to notice the sun setting during this time.

According to Mr. Erlend Johnsen (a local), in North Cape the sun shines continuously from mid-May to early August. During this time, there is no sunset because the sun never sets, shining all day and night.

"Because it is located within the Arctic Circle, the sun does not set for about 76 days from May to July every year. Because of this, on summer days, the sun here often sets at 1am and rises again after about 40 minutes," Mr. Erlend Johnsen shared.

During a business trip to Norway at the end of July 2023, VietNamNet reporters recorded the moment of the brilliant sun at midnight:
