Ha Ky commune is concentrating efforts to prevent the Bac Hung Hai canal from overflowing.

At 9:00 a.m. on September 12, the water level of the Cuu An River had receded by about 45 cm compared to 5:00 p.m. on September 11, but Doan Ket commune continued to mobilize people to reinforce the overflow prevention system on this river.

On the afternoon of September 11, hundreds of people in Ngo Quyen commune (Thanh Mien) were present at the Cuu An river dike in Pham Tan village to reinforce the dike surface.

Promoting the spirit of shock, from September 9th to now, the Youth Union members of Thanh Mien district have actively supported localities in flood prevention on the Bac Hung Hai canal system and Luoc river.

On the evening of September 11, some sections of the Bac Hung Hai canal in Gia Loc district were flooded with river water, such as 300 m in Bui Thuong village and Doi Hong village (Le Loi commune), 60 m in Dong Quang commune, 50 m in Thanh Lap village, Gia Luong commune... To overcome the situation, each commune mobilized about 100 people to reinforce the canal banks. By the night of September 11, these areas were all blocked, reinforced and ensured safety.
