RON 95-III gasoline price drops to lowest in 5 years

Gasoline prices continue to decrease today, except for fuel oil (illustrative photo)

From 3:00 p.m. on April 17, the price of RON 95-III gasoline (the popular type on the market) decreased by 350 VND, down to 18,850 VND/liter, and E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by 390 VND, down to 18,490 VND/liter. After adjustment, the price of RON 95-III gasoline has dropped to its lowest level in the past 5 years.

Similarly, oil products (except fuel oil) also decreased by 210 - 230 VND/liter. Compared to 7 days ago, diesel price decreased by 210 VND, to 17,030 VND/liter. Kerosene and fuel oil have new prices of 17,180 VND/liter and 15,960 VND/kg, respectively.

The world oil market in the past 7 days has been affected by many factors such as fluctuations in US tax rates on goods from trading partners, increased oil production of OPEC+, and the International Energy Agency (IEA) forecasting slow growth in oil demand this year...

The above factors caused the world oil price to fluctuate, the average price of finished products per barrel of RON 95 gasoline was 73.7 USD, down 2.2%. Similarly, each barrel of diesel and kerosene decreased by about 1.2 - 1.4%. Fuel oil alone increased by 0.7% to 422.5 USD/ton.
