On the morning of June 24, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ky Anh town held the 3rd Congress of Delegates, term 2024 - 2029. Attending the congress were Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee Tran Nhat Tan and leaders of Ky Anh town.

The congress's political report emphasized that in the 2019-2024 term, along with the general development of Ky Anh town, the work of the Front has achieved many important results. The Fatherland Front and its member organizations have promoted the tradition of solidarity, strived to contribute to the achievements in the targets set by the Resolution of the 2nd Town Party Congress.

The economy has recovered, the economic scale has increased 1.5 times compared to 2019; the economic structure has shifted in the right direction; annual budget revenue has exceeded 150%; average income per capita has reached 56.25 million VND/year.

The Fatherland Front at all levels in Ky Anh town has closely followed reality, promoted democracy, and mobilized people of all walks of life to respond to patriotic emulation movements and campaigns, especially in building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, social security, and building a clean and strong Party and government.

In 5 years, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ky Anh town and its member organizations have mobilized more than 12 billion VND and contributed nearly 43,000 working days to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas...

Implementing the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind", in the past 5 years, the Town's Fatherland Front Committee has coordinated to build 7 community cultural houses - Wisdom Houses (worth 11 billion VND); mobilized support resources to build new and repair 315 Great Solidarity houses, worth more than 16 billion VND; supported 452 livelihood models with nearly 3 billion VND; mobilized more than 113 billion VND into the "For the Poor" fund..., contributing to reducing the rate of poor households in the whole town to 2.21%, near-poor households to 3.92%...

During the past term, the Standing Committee of the Fatherland Front Committee of Ky Anh town organized 345 meetings with voters, compiled hundreds of opinions and recommendations from voters and people to report to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels; received, studied and processed 292 complaints, denunciations and recommendations from citizens. Through that, many sensitive and pressing issues that the public is interested in and that have been raised in practice have been directed to be resolved.

Promoting the achieved results, in the 2024 - 2029 term, the Fatherland Front Committee of Ky Anh town focuses on strengthening, consolidating and expanding the great national unity bloc, improving the quality of campaigns, promoting patriotic emulation movements; strongly innovating the content and methods of operation; performing well the role of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; promoting democracy, strengthening supervision and social criticism; actively participating in building a clean and strong Party and government, contributing to building Ky Anh town into a dynamic urban area of ​​the province.

The Congress set out a number of specific targets: Every year, 100% of poor and near-poor households have access to social security programs, receive support, assistance, visits, and gifts on holidays and Tet;

Support the construction of 50 - 100 houses; 150 livelihood models for poor, near-poor and disadvantaged households; Maintain the operation of the "Community Cultural House - House of Wisdom" model that has been built; strive for each commune and ward to have at least 1 model;

Strive for 100% of projects and works in the area to be supervised by the Community Investment Supervision Board in accordance with the provisions of law...

The Congress consulted and elected 58 members to join the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ky Anh town for the 3rd term, 2024 - 2029 term and consulted and elected 13 members to join the delegation to attend the 15th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress for the 2024 - 2029 term.

Mr. Nguyen Van Hao was re-elected as Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ky Anh town for the 2024 - 2029 term.
