Besides familiar destinations such as Ban Gioc waterfall, Mat Than mountain... Ba Quang burnt grass hill (Vinh Quy) is also a destination that attracts many tourists in Cao Bang. Photo: NVCC Located between Khum Din and Bac Vong hamlets in Vinh Quy commune, Ha Lang district, Cao Bang province, the endless stretches of orange-yellow sand beaches, both wild and romantic, attract countless tourists as well as photography enthusiasts from October to January of the following year. Photo: NVCC Mr. Nguyen Huu Minh (27 years old, Hanoi) accidentally found out about this place on social media and immediately added it to his itinerary during his trip to Cao Bang because he was so impressed. Photo: NVCC “I arrived in the afternoon and was able to watch the sunset. The scenery was truly indescribable. Surrounded by hills covered with burnt grass, it created an incredibly majestic scene. The sunset and the burnt grass overwhelmed me,” the male tourist shared. Photo: NVCC If the Phoenix burnt grass hill (Quang Ninh) has its own distinguishing feature of scattered green dwarf pine trees, the Ba Quang burnt grass hill is almost completely covered in a yellow-orange color among the rolling hills. Here, visitors can sightsee, take artistic photos or organize camping. Photo: NVCC When Minh arrived at Ba Quang, it was the end of September, there were still some green grass areas, but according to him, the overall scenery was really impressive. "When I got there, I just said "Wow" because the scenery was so beautiful," Minh excitedly shared. Photo: NVCC According to Mr. Minh, the road to the burnt grass hill is quite easy. From Thanh Nhat town (Ha Lang district), visitors can travel about 6-7km by car or motorbike. When reaching the Khum Din hamlet intersection, 3km from Vinh Quy commune People's Committee, turn right onto the small concrete road and continue for about 3km to reach Ba Quang grass hill. Photo: NVCC Coming here, visitors must leave their vehicles below and climb about 700m, taking about 15 minutes. This is a high hill area so visitors can take panoramic photos of the burnt grass, creating artistic "virtual life" photos. Photo: NVCC Currently, the Ba Quang burnt grass hill area does not have many accommodation services. Mr. Minh suggests that visitors can stay overnight at Ba Quang Panorama homestay or sit and drink coffee, enjoying the beautiful scenery that is no less than Korean movies. Photo: NVCC Tourists need to wake up early and climb high hills to get wide, airy and deserted shooting angles.
