On October 7, the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh province had a meeting with voters of Mong Cai city before the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly. Attending the meeting were delegates: Tran Thi Kim Nhung, Standing Member of the Law Committee of the National Assembly, National Assembly Delegate of Quang Ninh province; Hoang Ba Nam, Provincial Party Committee Member, Secretary of Mong Cai City Party Committee, Head of the delegation of the Provincial People's Council in Mong Cai; Ho Quang Huy, Chairman of Mong Cai City People's Committee and leaders of departments and branches.

At the meeting, National Assembly Deputy Tran Thi Kim Nhung informed voters of Mong Cai City about some contents of the laws that the National Assembly commented on and is expected to pass at the 8th Session; the results of handling and responding to the central ministries and branches for the recommendations sent to the 7th Session. Accordingly, the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly is expected to open on October 21 and close on November 30, 2024. The session is expected to consider and pass 16 laws and 2 resolutions; comment on 12 draft laws; assess the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in 2024 and consider and decide on the socio-economic development plan, the state budget estimate, the central budget allocation plan in 2025; the implementation of the public investment plan in 2024 and decide on the public investment plan in 2025.

Voters of Mong Cai City expressed their joy at the active activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Ninh Province; at the same time, they made recommendations to the National Assembly, the Government, ministries and branches on the following contents: Requesting the Government to pay attention to the early implementation of the cross-border economic cooperation zone; implementing the construction of Bac Luan 3 Bridge; building the Vietnam - China railway; requesting the National Assembly Delegation to recommend the Ministry of Finance and the National Assembly to consider amending and adjusting the State Budget Law with the mechanism of reserving a part of the revenue from import-export tax and from the revenue from entry and exit fees to the state budget in the city to supplement the capital source for investment in infrastructure in the area.

It is recommended to soon have a basis for calculating financial obligations for records arising after the new Land Law takes effect and to soon issue specific instructions for a number of articles in the 2024 Land Law, creating favorable conditions for local state management and land use by the people...

National Assembly Delegate Tran Thi Kim Nhung, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee, emphasized: The issues raised by voters are all very legitimate and directly related to the lives of local people. She requested that departments, branches, and local leaders study solutions and focus on promptly resolving issues raised by voters and recommendations within their authority. The opinions and recommendations of voters will be collected and synthesized by the Quang Ninh Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies and submitted to the National Assembly and competent levels and branches for consideration and resolution.

On the same day, comrade Tran Thi Kim Nhung, Standing Member of the National Assembly's Law Committee, National Assembly Delegate of the province, had a meeting with 150 voters of Hai Ha district before the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
