Lao Cai province delegation offered incense to pay tribute to heroic martyrs at the National Martyrs Cemetery of Road 9.

On July 8, on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2024), the Lao Cai Provincial Delegation led by Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, offered incense and flowers to commemorate the heroic martyrs at the National Martyrs' Cemetery on Road 9, Dong Ha City, Quang Tri Province.

At the National Martyrs' Cemetery on Road 9, in a solemn atmosphere, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Trinh Xuan Truong and the delegation observed a minute of silence, expressing deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the cause of national liberation, national reunification, and building and defending the Fatherland.

The National Road 9 Martyrs' Cemetery is the resting place of more than 10,700 heroic martyrs of the main force, local troops, militia and guerrillas, and youth volunteers who fought and served on the Road 9 front and in the brotherly country of Laos during the resistance war against the US.

As the years pass, the contributions and sacrifices of the heroic martyrs will forever be recorded in the glorious history of our nation and our army as an immortal song...
