According to the early admission scores (based on academic records) to the Diplomatic Academy just announced, the A01, D01, and D07 groups have the same standard score, ranging from 21.93 to 23.82 points.

The industry with the highest benchmark score is international business with 23.82 points, followed by international economics with 23.55 points, and international relations with 23.25 points. The lowest are training programs in the Asia-Pacific industry, with benchmark scores ranging from 21.93 to 22.66 points.

The admission threshold for the subject combination A00, D03, D06 of each major is 1 point lower than the subject combination A01, D01, D07 of that major.

The admission threshold for the C00 combination of each major is 1 point higher than the A01, D01, D07 combination of that major.

Last year, the admission score based on the transcripts of the three groups A01, D01 and D07 for training programs/majors ranged from 26.25 to 29 points.

Admission benchmark for Diplomatic Academy in 2024

The Diplomatic Academy's admission score is calculated as follows:

For the majors of international relations, international economics, international law, international business, international communication, Asia-Pacific studies and international trade law:

Admission score = [Sum of average score of 3 subjects in the admission group] x 2/3 + incentive score of the academy + priority score converted by the Ministry of Education and Training (if any).

For English language major:

Admission score = [Sum of average score of English x 2 and the score of the remaining 2 subjects in the admission combination] x 1/2 + incentive score of the academy + priority score converted by the Ministry of Education and Training (if any).

70% of the quota is based on academic records

In 2024, the Diplomatic Academy will recruit a total of 2,200 students, of which the school will reserve 1,540 students for admission based on academic records, equivalent to 70% of the admission quota.

The remaining three admission methods include direct admission, priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; admission based on interview results; admission based on the results of the 2024 high school graduation exam.
