Lang Son province is blessed by nature with majestic mountain ranges and vast, dense forests.

Therefore, in addition to the culture of the ethnic minorities in Lang Son and the local culinary art, the natural landscape is a rich source of inspiration for photographers.

As a local photographer with a passion for exploring nature, this summer, Thuan Bui and his friends undertook two trekking trips up the Mau Son mountain range in Loc Binh district.

Although this route is only about 35km from Lang Son city by car and 2km by walking through the forest, it seems to be relatively unknown to many people.

The forest trail isn't too difficult to navigate, crossing pine and eucalyptus hillsides, lush green bamboo groves, and small streams.

The destination is a place with cool waterfalls gently cascading down into small lakes, the sunlight sparkling and reflecting on the crystal-clear water.

The biggest challenge is climbing down the cliff face from the top of the waterfall to immerse yourself in the relaxing water.

Leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the city, and the temptations of mobile phones, the pure gift that nature bestows is incredibly precious.

We invite readers to admire the vibrant green and refreshing images by photographer Thuan Bui…
