Specifically, the high school graduation exam has a profound impact on the whole society. If the results of this exam meet the requirements of innovation, candidates can enter universities based on their high school graduation exam scores, instead of studying according to the general education program and preparing for separate exams.

Second, once the exam is good, it will ensure educational fairness because not all students have the time and financial resources to both study the general education program and practice the content of other exams (separate exams of universities - PV).

Perhaps, one of the reasons why many people rate the test as "strange" is because the recently published reference tests have a familiar multiple-choice question format, with additional true/false and short-answer question formats.

In addition, due to many years of focusing on practicing calculation-oriented questions, the newly published reference questions have reduced the number of questions requiring complex calculations, giving us the feeling that the questions seem "interesting" and "strange".

- From 2025, the high school graduation exam must ensure competency assessment according to the 2018 general education program. However, public opinion is worried and confused because they do not understand "what is competency assessment", sir?

From 2025, in order to better assess learners' abilities and reduce the probability of guessing in exam questions, the high school graduation exam will change the exam format.

According to the decision of the Ministry of Education and Training last March, except for foreign languages, the structure of the exam questions for objective multiple-choice subjects has three parts.

Part I consists of familiar multiple choice items; Part II consists of yes/no items and Part III consists of short answer items.
