On the afternoon of August 21, regarding the incident of K Hospital being continuously slandered and defamed on social networks, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management (Ministry of Health) sent a document to the Director of K Hospital regarding strengthening the management of medical examination and treatment.
The Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management stated that currently, public opinion still has different information reflecting the behavior and attitude of medical staff during the treatment process at K Hospital. In order to ensure the rights of patients, with the spirit of openness, listening, taking patients as the center, improving the quality of medical examination and treatment, the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management requested the Director of K Hospital to direct the strengthening of inspection and supervision of the reception process, behavior, and service attitude towards patients and their families, not allowing negativity to occur; comply with regulations on the implementation of medical service provision at the hospital; promptly detect and strictly handle relevant individuals when violations are detected; urgently review and update the procedures for implementing medical examination and treatment at the hospital to ensure publicity, transparency, and efficiency.

Previously, on August 20, K Hospital had press information about the fact that from July 15 to the morning of August 16, on a number of social networking platforms, many videos appeared posted under the account name Tiktok DTT (ID: @xx.thanh.xx) and a number of other accounts with distorted, slanderous and spreading information with the purpose of defaming the image of K Hospital and the personal reputation of doctors and medical staff.
