The actress shared that her new boyfriend is living abroad. The two have been dating for nearly a year, and the other half is not active in the arts. The female artist said that because he is abroad, the two have not met in person but mainly chat via text messages and video calls.

When she broke up with Kieu Minh Tuan 2 years ago, her boyfriend was there to encourage her and help her regain her spirit. In May 2022, at her 52nd birthday party, her boyfriend sent her a large bouquet of flowers, which surprised and touched the actress.

Cat Phuong was born in 1970 in Bac Lieu. In 1980, she followed her father to Ho Chi Minh City to do business, then entered the theater school and started her acting career.

After her broken marriage with Thai Hoa, Cat Phuong fell in love with actor Kieu Minh Tuan - 18 years younger. The two loved each other for 12 years, before announcing their breakup on Valentine's Day (February 14) 2021.
