The Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau is in the process of reviewing and finalizing a draft of new regulations on extra teaching and learning in the province.
On February 14, Mr. Le Hoang Du, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau, said that the department is in the process of assessing and completing a draft of new regulations on extra teaching and learning in the province, replacing Decision No. 23/2020/QD-UBND.
According to Mr. Du, the draft has been sent to the Department of Justice for appraisal and after completion, it will be submitted to the Provincial People's Committee for signing and promulgation. After that, the Department of Education and Training will issue instructions for implementation according to its functions and responsibilities.
While waiting for new regulations, the Department of Education and Training has issued Official Dispatch No. 335/SGD-DT-MNPT on strengthening the implementation of the educational plan for the 2024-2025 school year, especially the orientation for reviewing for the high school graduation exam. Accordingly, schools must adjust the review content appropriately, not cut the curriculum of subjects not included in the high school graduation exam, and organize all classes according to regulations.
Educational institutions are required to review and adjust professional assignments and budget estimates to pay for teachers' remuneration for exam preparation. This budget is implemented according to the provisions of Article 7, Clause 1, Circular 29/2024/TT-BGDDT. Exam preparation orientation must closely follow the lesson objectives and the structure of the high school graduation reference questions issued by the Ministry of Education and Training.
The Department of Education and Training of Ca Mau also called on teachers to support students with enthusiasm and encouraged teachers to organize free teaching for students in difficult circumstances.
The Department has held meetings with school principals and heads of professional departments to thoroughly understand the implementation of Circular 29, emphasizing the importance of compliance with regulations. After the Circular takes effect, the Department will strengthen inspection work according to the plan set out in Official Dispatch 335.
