In 2025, Banking Academy plans to enroll more than 3,600 students based on 5 admission methods, including: Direct admission, Admission based on high school academic results (20%), Admission based on international certificate results (15%), Admission based on results of competency assessment exams (20%), Admission based on high school exam results (45%).

With the admission method based on high school academic results , the Academy considers candidates with excellent academic performance in grade 12 and with an average score of 8 or higher for each subject in the admission group for 3 years.

With the admission method based on international certificate results , in addition to the above academic transcript requirements, candidates need to have one of the following certificates: SAT from 1200 points or higher, IELTS from 6.0 or higher, TOEFL iBT from 72 points or higher...

Admission score = Converted international certificate score × 3 + Priority points.

With the admission method based on the results of the competency assessment exams , the Academy considers based on the results of the V-SAT and the competency assessment exam scores of Hanoi National University (HSA). The condition for submitting an application with V-SAT is that the candidate has a total score of 3 subjects in the group of subjects registered for admission of 300 or higher. The condition for submitting an application with HAS is that the candidate has an exam result of 85 points or higher.

With the admission method based on the results of the 2025 high school exam , candidates need to have a total score of the 2025 high school exam of the subjects in the group of subjects registered for admission that meets the general quality assurance threshold of the Academy. In 2024, the quality assurance threshold for the admission method based on high school exam scores is 21 points.

For standard training programs and international joint training programs, admission scores are calculated on a scale of 40 and converted to a scale of 30, in which the score for general subjects is doubled, specifically as follows:

Admission score = (M1 x 2+ M2 + M3) × 3 / 4 + Priority score

In which M1, M2, M3 are the 2025 high school exam scores of 3 subjects in the combination of the registered major, with M1 being the main subject. For the combination groups having the same Math subject (including A00, A01, D01, D07, D09), M1 is the Math subject. For the combination groups C00, C03, D14, D15, M1 is the Literature subject.
