Caring for the material and spiritual life of the people

The Party Committee of Tuyen Quang province always considers the task of caring for the people's material and spiritual life as a central and regular task in the leadership process. The economic structure of the province has gradually shifted in a reasonable direction, effectively exploiting and increasing the province's endogenous capacity. Therefore, the economic growth rate of the province has increased over the years.

In 2024, the gross domestic product growth rate will reach 9.04%, the highest growth rate in the past 10 years, ranking 12th out of 63 provinces and cities; 4th out of 14 provinces and midlands and mountainous areas of the North; budget revenue will increase by more than 41% compared to 2023, reaching the target set by the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress one year ahead of schedule. The rate of communes meeting new rural standards will account for over 70%.

The quality of cultural and social aspects such as education and training, healthcare, employment, and poverty reduction has been improved; social security has been taken care of. From 2021 to present, the whole province has supported the repair and renovation of houses for 7,067 households with a total mobilized budget of over 900 billion VND. The coverage rate of health insurance and social insurance reached 94.59%.

Many key projects and works have been deployed and put into use, creating momentum and unleashing the province's resources such as Tuyen Quang - Ha Giang Expressway (phase 1) through Tuyen Quang province; the road from My Lam mineral spring tourist area to National Highway 2D connecting with Tuyen Quang - Phu Tho Expressway, Provincial General Hospital, Specialized High School at a new location; completed and put into use the urban development axis road from Tuyen Quang city to Yen Son district center, Bach Xa bridge (Ham Yen), Xuan Van bridge (Yen Son) ...

The province has completed the target of asphalting and concreted 100% of roads from the district center to the commune center, concreted 80% of rural roads, and concreted 65% of intra-field roads. In addition, the province has invested in building 161/200 bridges on rural roads, striving to complete the target of investing in 200 bridges on rural roads in the 2021-2025 period by the end of 2025.

'In addition, the province's administrative reform has gradually focused on serving people and businesses. According to the results announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs in mid-2024, Tuyen Quang's administrative reform index ranked 16th out of 63 provinces and cities, up 16 places compared to 2022. The competitiveness index and people's satisfaction index with the service of the provincial State administrative agencies have both increased compared to 2022.

Under the creative and correct leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, the socio-economic picture of the Liberated Zone Capital and the Resistance Capital has many breakthrough developments, and the people's lives in all aspects have been constantly improved.

Innovation in leadership methods

In order to constantly improve the capacity, intelligence, political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, to truly "be ethical and civilized" in order to fulfill its noble mission before the People, over the years, the Provincial Party Committee has constantly innovated and had creative ways to contribute to building a clean and strong Party and political system.

2025 is the year of breakthrough to the goal of implementing the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term and organizing the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term. Besides the advantages and opportunities, there are many difficulties and challenges when entering the era of national development, the innovation of leadership methods and improvement of the Party's governing capacity become urgent.

Party committees and organizations in the province continue to lead the fight against waste, considering this a key task in rectifying the Party and the political system. At the same time, innovate the issuance of resolutions to ensure they are practical and feasible.

Personnel work synchronously and resolutely deploys solutions, creating fundamental changes in building a contingent of cadres in the new period; effectively implementing mechanisms to encourage and protect cadres who dare to think, dare to do, dare to make breakthroughs, dare to take responsibility, dare to face difficulties and challenges, for the common good.

Promoting the results achieved in arousing the people's strength, strengthening the close relationship between the Party and the people, the contingent of cadres and party members must well implement Regulation No. 144-QD/TW on revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period, Regulation No. 08-QDi/TW of the Party Central Committee on the exemplary responsibility of cadres and party members; practicing a working style that is close to the grassroots, matching words with actions, listening to and promptly resolving the legitimate thoughts and aspirations of the people.

The new spring has come with many aspirations when we have the light of the Party to guide us. We are proud and confident that, under the wise and talented leadership of the Party, the people of all ethnic groups in the Capital of the Liberated Zone and the Capital of the Resistance are always united, united, making the most of opportunities and advantages, pushing back challenges and difficulties, together with the country to develop comprehensively, break through and take off.
