Dak Nong has another commune about to reach the advanced new rural area finish line

Before entering the appraisal session, the working group inspected and visited economic development models, model gardens, model fields, and rural roads in the locality.

The appraisal team has impartially assessed the level of achievement of advanced NTM criteria of Nam Dong commune, Cu Jut district (Dak Nong).

According to the People's Committee of Nam Dong commune, in order to set the goal of becoming an advanced new rural commune (NTM) by 2024, the Party Committees and authorities at all levels have made efforts to promote the spirit of emulation and exemplary behavior, mobilize people to contribute their efforts and resources, and strive to achieve the advanced NTM criteria. Up to now, the total number of self-assessment criteria of the commune according to the set of criteria for advanced NTM communes has reached 19/19 criteria, 74/74 targets, reaching 100%.

In 2024, the total value of the commune's gross domestic product will increase by 13.04% compared to 2023, with the total income of the commune reaching over 873 billion VND. The economic structure will shift towards increasing the proportion of industry, handicrafts and trade services, and gradually reducing the proportion of agriculture and forestry. The average income per capita in 2024 will reach 65.12 million VND/person/year.

Representative of the Department of Education and Training gave comments on criterion number 5 on education of Nam Dong commune, Cu Jut district.

The result of mobilizing resources to build advanced new rural areas in 2024, the whole commune reached over 26 billion VND. In addition to the central, provincial and district budgets, people and businesses contributed over 5.5 billion VND.

Mr. Truong Van Tu, Chairman of Nam Dong Commune People's Committee, Cu Jut District (Dak Nong) explained the opinions of the members of the Working Group on the appraisal of the documents.

At the appraisal meeting, the members of the Working Group basically agreed with the results of achieving the advanced NTM standards of Nam Dong commune. However, through analyzing and evaluating each criterion, the members of the Working Group requested the commune to review and supplement some contents of the criteria and indicators on the environment, cultural houses, quality of life, access to law, etc.

The new rural area of ​​Nam Dong commune, Cu Jut district is increasingly prosperous and beautiful.

This is the basis for the Working Group to complete the dossier proving the level of achievement of advanced NTM standards in 2024 of Nam Dong commune.
