Emulation Congress to win Dong Bac Corporation

On the morning of August 30, in Ha Long City, Dong Bac Corporation organized the Emulation Congress for the period 2019 - 2024. Attending and directing the Congress was Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense.

Over the past 5 years, emulation, reward and emulation movement to win have been implemented regularly, closely, deeply and practically by Dong Bac Corporation; being an important driving force to promote agencies, units and mass organizations to excellently complete all assigned tasks.

The emulation movement has contributed to increasing coal mining and trading output and increasing income for officials, employees and workers every year. In the period of 2019 - 2024, coal production of Dong Bac Corporation reached over 34.8 million tons, equal to 133% compared to the period of 2014 - 2018; coal consumption reached over 52.3 million tons, equal to 164% compared to the period of 2014 - 2018; revenue reached 110,698 billion VND, equal to 203% compared to the period of 2014 - 2018; state budget payment was 15,797 billion VND, equal to 193% compared to the period of 2014 - 2018.

Through emulation movements, Dong Bac Corporation has had 532 groups and 5,791 typical advanced individuals recognized and honored. Many comrades have been honored and rewarded by the Government, the Ministry of National Defense, ministries, branches and localities.

Speaking at the Congress, Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San, member of the Party Central Committee, member of the Central Military Commission, Deputy Minister of National Defense, acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Northeast Corporation.

Faced with the requirements and challenges, Deputy Minister of National Defense Vu Hai San requested Dong Bac Corporation to continue to innovate the content, form, and method of organizing the emulation movement in a practical and effective direction; focus on successfully implementing political tasks, difficult tasks, new tasks, overcoming weak links and weaknesses, creating further breakthrough development; continue to promote the emulation movement "Good workers, creative workers", striving to produce 6.5-7.5 million tons of coal annually.

In addition, the Corporation must link the emulation movement to victory with the patriotic emulation movement and major campaigns of the Party and State. In the immediate future, from now until the end of 2024, the Dong Bac Corporation will organize a peak emulation campaign "Proud of tradition - Continuing the feat - Worthy of Uncle Ho's soldiers" and activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day.

Also in the program, the Congress announced the letter of determination and organized the commendation of 15 collectives and 145 typical advanced individuals in the emulation movement to win of Dong Bac Corporation in the period of 2019 - 2024.
