12th Congress of Party Delegates of Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company

On March 20-21, the Party Committee of Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company successfully organized the 12th Congress of Delegates for the 2025-2030 term. This is one of the units selected by the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee to organize a model congress.

According to the report at the Congress, during the 2020 - 2025 term, Nui Beo Coal Joint Stock Company has simultaneously carried out many important tasks, including: Completing open-pit coal mining, completing underground production items, finalizing the Investment project for construction of underground mining works and implementing the open-pit mine closure project.

The above tasks were carried out under conditions where the Company faced many challenges due to the fact that this was a period of complete technology conversion from open-pit to underground mining, complex geological conditions in the mine, and difficulties in recruiting underground workers; moreover, in the early stages of the term, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and storm No. 3 (Yagi) in 2024 had a major impact on the production process.

Under the attention of the Quang Ninh Coal Party Committee, the Vietnam National Coal - Mineral Industries Group and the local government, the Nui Beo Coal Party Committee took advantage of the opportunity and favorable conditions to focus on directing cadres, party members and employees of the entire Company to achieve important results. Of which, coal consumption was 9.17 million tons, equal to 101% of the plan; revenue was 14,528 billion VND, equal to 105% of the plan; average income was 16.73 million VND/person/month. In particular, the profit target reached 325.5 billion VND, equal to 192%.

Although the number of furnaces being prepared for production has not yet reached the plan due to objective conditions, with appropriate balance and management, the company has still promptly prepared enough resources for exploitation.

The Party Committee of the Company, term XII, was introduced to the Congress.

During the 2025 - 2030 term, the Company's Party Committee set the goal of continuing to overcome difficulties, striving to achieve a design capacity of 2 million tons of coal/year by 2026; achieving the following targets: digging 69,300 meters of tunnel; exploiting 10 million tons of coal; revenue of over 13 trillion VND; profit of 175 billion VND; average salary of over 22 million VND/person/month.

The Congress elected the Party Executive Committee of the Company for the 12th term, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 17 comrades. Comrade Doan Duc Tho, Party Secretary and Director of the Company, was re-elected as Party Secretary.
