Previously, at the conference of key officials implementing Resolution 18, streamlining and rearranging the apparatus throughout VNU, VNU Director Le Quan said that the University will focus on tightening the training scale to ensure in-depth development and continue to focus on high-quality training and international integration.

In addition, VNU will prioritize the development of advanced technology fields, incubate science and technology enterprises and support startups.

VNU identifies this as an opportunity to reorganize and streamline the apparatus, innovate management methods and working processes, improve staff quality and operational efficiency.

According to Director Le Quan, in all arrangements, VNU will take two main pillars as the foundation for development: training and science and technology. Each step in this period must be based on core values and prioritize units that are having difficulty attracting good staff. It is necessary to prioritize appropriate calculations so that VNU is the destination for high-quality human resources at home and abroad. The general policy of VNU is to streamline in a synchronous and comprehensive manner so that this is a place where qualified staff gather, with rich expertise, enough heart, vision, and talent, in line with the vision and mission of the leading unit in the country's education.

Mr. Le Quan informed that the Board of Directors will manage and direct the restructuring so that it does not disrupt or affect the operational efficiency and development momentum of VNU. "Restructuring and always taking quality as the prerequisite in all activities, if it is not effective, it will not be implemented, especially in the fields of training and science and technology. Reviewing and restructuring to meet the new form of university governance is a comprehensive digital transformation, to ensure the quality factor and develop in accordance with the position of VNU," said Mr. Quan.

The Rector of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (VNU), Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, said that the school achieved the goal of streamlining the apparatus by 37%. According to Prof. Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, this is also an opportunity to rearrange the apparatus to be more elite and sustainable.
