The famous travel website Time Out commented that the coastal city of Da Nang in Vietnam is not crowded, has many places to have fun, culinary experiences, and meets the criteria for selection on the list.
In December, Da Nang developed cuisine into a tourism product for the first time with the Da Nang food tour campaign. The city's Department of Tourism built a website to help tourists look up information about local cuisine and provided 10,000 culinary passports for tourists to experience cuisine at 50 dining establishments suggested by the city.
In 2025, Da Nang plans to implement a series of themed culinary tourism products such as street food, fine dining, and festivals with the expectation of affirming its position on the world culinary tourism map.
Da Nang's tourism products will also be renewed and put into operation in 2025, including the "Revolution Express" steam train, which has been restored to its original state. The train operates on the Hue - Da Nang railway line through Hai Van Pass, the most beautiful route on the North-South railway line with sections through mountain passes, railway bridges, and tunnels.
Topping the list of travel destinations in Asia next year is Sumba, an Indonesian island with pristine beaches and picturesque beaches, according to Time Out. In second place is Siargao, a popular surfing spot in the Philippines.
The remaining positions on the list are Tainan (China), Ipoh (Malaysia), Osaka (Japan), Nan (Thailand) and Lijiang (China).
