Khanh Hoa Two tourists were rescued by police early this morning after being trapped on Co Tien Mountain, Nha Trang City, the night before.
Two male tourists from Ho Chi Minh City went to Nha Trang to climb Co Tien Mountain to explore but were exhausted on the way down and got stuck on the mountain last night. After receiving the information, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department, Khanh Hoa Provincial Police, mobilized officers and specialized vehicles to the scene.
The Fire and Rescue Police said that due to the darkness, rugged terrain and steep slopes, the rescue team encountered some difficulties. By dawn on January 21, the two tourists were brought down the mountain and returned safely to the city center.

Fairy Mountain is located in the north of Nha Trang City, about 400 m high, with three adjacent peaks, resembling the figure of a woman with loose hair and looking up to the sky. This is an ideal camping spot for many people. From the top, visitors can see the whole view of the coastal city.
On January 10, authorities also brought 25 people camping and exercising on Co Tien Mountain down safely after the area was burned. Khanh Hoa later said it would study measures to ensure safety for climbers, especially at night.
