Hanoi Singing Contest 2024: Special prize up to 500 million VND

(Dan Tri) - The organizers of the Hanoi Singing Contest 2024 said that the contestant who wins the special prize will receive a total prize of up to 500 million VND (including cash and gifts).

Hanoi Radio and Television Station has just held a press conference to inform about the Hanoi Singing Contest 2024.

Sharing at the press conference, Mr. Nguyen Kim Khiem - General Director of Hanoi Radio and Television Station - said that Hanoi Television Singing 2024 is a music contest on television with its own unique characteristics, gathering and selecting talented faces and voices.

"The station organizes many music competitions and art programs to serve radio and television broadcasting, and to contribute to the organization of performances and cultural and artistic activities of the capital. According to Mr. Nguyen Kim Khiem, this year's program script remains the same as previous seasons. However, the Organizing Committee will promote media products during and after the competition ends. Prize-winning contestants and potential contestants will also receive media support. In addition, the Organizing Committee will also closely monitor and help contestants choose music genres and songs to compete.

Notably, the prize structure of the Hanoi Singing Contest 2024 is very attractive. The special prize will receive a total prize of up to 500 million VND (including cash and gifts). Meanwhile, the 3 first prizes in music categories, each prize is worth 100 million VND.

The entries for the 2024 Hanoi Singing Contest are selected according to 3 musical performance styles: Classical Chamber Music, Folk Music and Light Music. The songs focus on the theme of Hanoi, especially the songs associated with the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Capital.

Contestants register from October 1 to November 19. The final night takes place on December 26 at Ho Guom Theater.
