On the morning of October 24, Mr. Dang Ha Viet had a working session with the High Performance Sports Department II, My Dinh National Sports Complex, and Hanoi National Sports Training Center to listen to explanations and clarify responsibilities in the incident of the 800,000 VND meal of the national youth table tennis team.

" I request clarification of the responsibilities of individuals and groups involved, and at the same time direct the My Dinh National Sports Complex and the National Sports Training Center to redo the report this afternoon to clarify responsibilities ," Mr. Dang Ha Viet added.

The Director of the Department of Sports and Physical Training also said that all relevant parties accepted responsibility in this working session and will report back in writing.

I also made it clear that we must deal with those responsible, there is no blaming each other. At today's meeting, no one blamed anyone, everyone took responsibility. However, according to the process, we need to have documents to work on, " Mr. Dang Ha Viet shared.

After receiving information reflecting that the 800,000 VND meal of the national youth table tennis team was not commensurate with the regime that the athletes were entitled to according to regulations, and at the same time the head coach had collected some money from the athletes, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism directed a general inspection and review of the training work at the teams.

Mr. Dang Ha Viet added: " The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism wants to handle everything quickly. Now it is too late, so I request that all parties must meet this morning ."

The Department of Sports and Physical Training has decided to stop calling up head coach Bui Xuan Ha and assistant coach To Minh. Mr. Phan Anh Tuan - in charge of table tennis, Department of Sports and Physical Training - also submitted his resignation due to lax management.

The national youth table tennis team was also brought to the National Sports Training Center in Hanoi for activities and training. Previously, due to the center's lack of facilities, the team was sent to train at the My Dinh National Sports Complex.
