At around 2am the same day, while on duty at Km52+300 on National Highway 7, passing through Khai Son Commune (Anh Son District), a working group of the Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 discovered a woman standing alone next to a motorbike. The working group approached to inquire.

The woman said her name was Thuy (born in 1988, residing in Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh). Ms. Thuy is a teacher at Na Ngoi Kindergarten, Ky Son district (Nghe An).

Because there were no buses, Ms. Thuy drove her motorbike nearly 250km to her hometown to attend her sister's wedding. When she arrived at the location, her motorbike ran out of gas. Because there were few people around, Ms. Thuy had to stand by the roadside and wait for dawn to seek help.

Upon inspection, the task force discovered that Ms. Thuy’s motorbike had run out of gas. At that time, the gas stations were not open yet, so the traffic police officers used a hose to suck gas from the patrol car and fill it up for Ms. Thuy, helping her continue her journey home.

After being helped, Ms. Thuy was moved and posted a message thanking the traffic police officers on her personal Facebook page.
