Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee has issued a document agreeing to Tan Son Nhat Airport Services Joint Stock Company (Sasco, stock code: SAS) to continue implementing the Suoi Hoa eco-tourism resort project in Da Lat City. Sasco Company is chaired by "king of luxury goods" Johnathan Hanh Nguyen.
Sasco is required to make project adjustments and planning adjustments in accordance with the general planning, zoning planning and master planning for the development of the Dankia - Suoi Vang National Tourist Area approved by the Prime Minister on December 18, 2018. This is a condition for the company to continue implementing the project.
Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Natural Resources and Environment, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Lac Duong District People's Committee and Da Lat City to guide Sasco in adjusting the project and adjusting the project's planning.

The Suoi Hoa eco-tourism resort project, covering an area of over 131 hectares, was assigned to Sasco by Lam Dong for investment in 2008. This project has an investment capital of about VND1,000 billion. As of September 30, Sasco had poured about VND26.5 billion into this project, according to the consolidated financial report for the third quarter.
Up to now, after 15 years, Sasco has not implemented the project. The company stated the reasons why the project could not be implemented.
The first is the time for planning and implementing forest leasing procedures (2009-2010). The second is the time waiting for instructions on procedures for converting land use purposes and protective forests from the Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment to implement the project (from 2011 to 2019).
The third is to close the forest according to the Prime Minister's policy (Notice No. 191 of the Government Office dated July 22, 2016). The fourth is to handle the boundary overlap with the Dankia - Suoi Vang National Tourist Area project approved by the Prime Minister in the Decision dated December 18, 2018 (from 2022-2023).
According to the company, the above reasons are not subjective reasons from Sasco. The company said that after reviewing all the documents and the local authorities allow it, it will immediately carry out the work.
