Publicize administrative procedures requiring submission and presentation of paper household registration books and paper temporary residence books.

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued Document No. 1134/UBND-NC on the announcement, publicization, and guidance on the implementation of administrative procedures (AP) requiring submission, presentation of paper household registration books, paper temporary residence books, or confirmation at the place of residence.

Accordingly, heads of agencies, units and localities focus on thoroughly grasping and directing specialized units to urgently review and amend decisions and legal documents under the authority of the province with regulations related to the submission and presentation of paper household registration books, paper temporary residence books or documents requiring confirmation from the locality of residence (must prove information about the place of residence before confirmation) when performing administrative procedures, providing public services (if any); ensure the reduction and simplification of administrative procedures on the basis of exploiting and using information and data from the National Population Database and other databases, in compliance with the provisions of the Law on Residence and Decree No. 104/2022/ND-CP dated December 21, 2022 of the Government.

Based on the announcement decision of the Ministry, the Central Government, the departments, branches and sectors urgently advise the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, heads of vertical agencies to announce and publicize administrative procedures within the scope of settlement on the National Database on Administrative Procedures, the Provincial Administrative Procedure Settlement Information System and the place of receiving and settling administrative procedures; at the same time, complete internal procedures and electronic procedures to abolish the requirement to submit and present paper household registration books, paper temporary residence books, and residence confirmation papers, including cases of proving residence before confirming documents such as CVs, marriage status confirmation papers, etc.
