Southeast Asia Commercial Joint Stock Bank (SeABank - HoSE: SSB) has just reported on the results of stock transactions of insiders and related persons of insiders of the bank.
Accordingly, Mr. Le Tuan Anh, son of SeABank's Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Board of Directors Nguyen Thi Nga, has sold 1 million SSB shares between June 21 and July 16, 2024 by order matching method.
Based on the closing price of SSB shares on July 16 at VND20,800/share, Mr. Tuan Anh estimated to earn VND20.8 billion.
Before the transaction, Mr. Le Tuan Anh was holding more than 48.5 million SSB shares, equivalent to 1.944% of the total number of voting shares. After the transaction, Mr. Tuan Anh reduced the number of shares owned to 47.5 million shares, equivalent to 1.904% of capital.
In early July, SeABank also announced the stock transaction results of Vice President Nguyen Thi Nga. Accordingly, Ms. Nga bought 1 million SSB shares by negotiation on June 27, 2024.

Before the transaction, Ms. Nga held nearly 57.8 million SSB shares, equivalent to 3.896% of charter capital. After the transaction, the number of shares owned by Ms. Nga is 98.2 million, equivalent to 16.495%.
In a recent development, SeABank has just announced the Board of Directors' Resolution on implementing the plan to issue shares to increase charter capital to VND 28,800 billion.
Accordingly, SeABank also plans to issue an additional 45 million shares under the employee stock option program (ESOP) in 2024.
In addition, the bank plans to issue 329 million shares to pay dividends in 2023 and issue 10.3 million shares to increase equity capital from equity sources. The expected implementation time is in the second and third quarters of 2024.
After completing the share issuance, SeABank's charter capital is expected to increase from VND 24,957 billion to VND 28,800 billion, equivalent to an increase of VND 3,843 billion.
On the stock market, at the end of the session on July 17, SSB shares stopped at 20,800 VND/share with a trading volume of nearly 2.7 million units.
Over the past month, SSB shares have decreased by 7.14% from VND22,400/share to VND20,800/share with an average trading volume of 3.3 million shares/day.
