Victory for Thai Son Nam Futsal Club, Ho Chi Minh City
Luu Nhat Tien's golden goal with only 25 seconds left in the match helped Thai Son Nam Club in Ho Chi Minh City win a thrilling 3-2 victory in the final match of the 2024 international futsal tournament held at Dong Thap University.
This is the 8th year the international futsal tournament has been held, gathering 8 teams including 2 host teams, Dong Thap University and Cao Lanh Ticket Club, 2 Thai clubs, Tor O Sot and Thai Port, led by former "War Elephant" player Apisit Khai Kaew.
In addition, the tournament also has 2 representatives from Ho Chi Minh City, Thai Son Nam Club Ho Chi Minh City and Hoang FC, along with Khi Ca Mau Club and Bach Mai Hoang Nong from Can Tho.
Entering the final match, Hoang FC with a team of former professional futsal players such as Huynh Le Van Hau, Ho Duy Hai, Tran Gia Huy... and especially former Vietnamese futsal player Tran Tuyen showed that they are worthy opponents of Thai Son Nam TP.HCM.

In the final match held at Dong Thap University, both teams created an exciting score chase. Thai Son Nam Club, Ho Chi Minh City, started well with a goal by Co Tri Kiet in the first half.
In the second half, the match speed was increased. Tran Tuyen took advantage of the opponent's players not getting back into the game well to equalize 1-1 for Hoang FC. Tri Kiet once again put Nguyen Bao Trung's team ahead but Hoang FC once again equalized the score 2-2.
Towards the end of the match, the attacking pressure that Thai Son Nam TP.HCM created was greater. On the sidelines, coach Nguyen Bao Trung continuously made adjustments in terms of personnel and tactics. When the match had 25 seconds left to countdown, Luu Nhat Tien seized the opportunity to score a "golden" goal for Thai Son Nam TP.HCM, sealing a dramatic 3-2 victory.

In addition to the championship, Thai Son Nam TP.HCM Club also had Chau Thach Khanh Cuong win the title of Best Goalkeeper of the tournament. This is the perfect start for Thai Son Nam TP.HCM players to prepare for the 2024 National Futsal Cup taking place next December.
