Dong Nai Club changes head coach to find a way to stay in the league

On the morning of April 15, Dong Nai Club decided to appoint Mr. Ngo Quang Sang (former assistant coach Toshiya Miura) to take charge of the remaining 7 rounds of the 2024-2025 National First Division.

Coach Ngo Quang Sang came to Dong Nai Club at the beginning of the season, working as assistant to Mr. Bui Huu Thai Son. Mr. Quang Sang was born in 1972, from Long An, and used to work as assistant to Coach Toshiya Miura.

Before coming to Dong Nai to play football, Coach Ngo Quang Sang led Long An Club in the V-League and the first division. Mr. Sang has an A coaching license according to AFC standards.

Sharing with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Ngo Quang Sang said: "I have recently worked and been close to the Dong Nai players. Hopefully in the next 7 rounds, the team will play well to stay in the league."

"The recent 1-0 victory over Hue was of great significance to Dong Nai players. We won the first match and escaped the bottom of the table. Hopefully, the players will unite and improve their spirit," he said.

After 13 rounds of the 2024-2025 First Division, Dong Nai Club has just climbed to the second-to-last position with 9 points. They are only 1 point ahead of the bottom team, Hue Football Club.

The tournament has 7 more rounds to end and only 1 place will be relegated to the second division. Dong Nai Club has 4 home matches left and is trying to earn every point to avoid relegation.
